Geomorphology is the study of the origin and changes of various topographic and bathymetric, i.e., underwater, features created by physical, chemical, and biological process near the earth’s surface. Forsgren Associates in particularly interested in stream geomorphology. We conduct surveys and perform studies associated with moving water from one place to another and improvement or restoration of aquatic habitat. Our geomorphologists and hydrologists provide critical services for agency and private clients who need documentation of existing conditions and our opinions of the likely impacts of proposed changes.
