The scope and extent of natural disasters throughout the western U.S. continues on a steep upward curve. We are seeing more intense catastrophic fires, flashier precipitation and flood events, windstorms that take out entire ridge tops, mass slumping of denuded slopes, and unprecedented droughts. The ever-expanding numbers of homes and people in harm’s way increase the odds of disasters of epic proportions. Our diverse team responds nimbly to changing conditions of challenging and dynamic processes. We like to call our Forsgren Associates team “the second responders” because although the immediate emergency may have passed, we’ll be there to assess the situation and get vital infrastructure operable again.
