Infrastructure Damage Assessment / Temporary Repairs

Floodwaters and wildfire events are generally so severe and widespread that multiple roads, bridges, culverts, and stream channels in the vicinity are routinely damaged or destroyed. We work closely with local, state, and tribal officials to get the rapid attention of appropriate federal officials. We conduct condition assessments and, where appropriate, bridge inspections in conformance with National Bridge Inspection Standards. The resulting damage assessments are used as the basis for corrective action schedules. We are adept at prioritizing and organizing repairs into separate design and construction packages based upon critical need, construction type, and geographic location. Our expertise includes inspections, geomorphology, permitting, civil design, fish passage design, stream hydraulic modeling, stormwater modeling, roadway design and construction contract administration and inspection.
